I mentioned in Finally a Trip to Ithaca, NY that I couldn’t wait to get back to Ithaca. That happened much quicker than I expected…my MIL came into town last week so Chris and I decided to capitalize on her being here and make a weekend trip up north. There was a house we wereContinue reading “Playing Adult”
Took G to Ithaca for a quick trip last week. It’s even more beautiful than I imagined! I still can’t believe I’m going to Cornell! Buying a house is stressful and scary. G and I really like ice cream. I’m totally all-in on this farming thing and I think Ithaca is the perfect place toContinue reading “Finally a Trip to Ithaca, NY”
I’m a Marine. I decided I wanted to be a Marine when I was 12 years old, and I worked unbelievably hard to make it to where I am (more on that in a later post). I put the Marine Corps ahead of pretty much everything else in my life for well over a decade.Continue reading “From Hero to Zero”

I work in a very male dominated environment. I consider myself very fortunate to have been treated well and respected by (most) of myContinue reading “No Really…I’m Speaking”
I had my first boob squish today…you might know that as a mammogram. I recently stopped nursing Graycie and noticed some lumps shortly after. They didn’t change for a bit, so figured I should get checked out. Everything is good—no abnormalities on the boob squish or the follow-up ultrasound. It was an interesting experience though.Continue reading “My First Boob Squish”
Even to this day if I hear my husband fart in another room I start to dry-heave…
This year marks 13 years since losing my dad and two sisters in a murder/suicide. It took me until last year to finally ask for help dealing with the incident. It’s never too late to start addressing issues and taking care of yourself…you deserve to feel safe, healthy, and joyful no matter what you’ve beenContinue reading “Trials and Tribulations: month vs Month”
